Duda Dox, N.D. is a graduate of Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine and
Health Sciences (SCNM) in Tempe, AZ. SCNM is one of only five accredited Naturopathic
Medical Colleges in the United States that offers formal primary-care training,
at a doctoral level, in natural medicine. SCNM is accredited by the Council for
Naturopathic Medical Education (CNME) in the United States. Dr. Duda Dox is a
licensed Naturopathic Doctor in the state of Vermont and a member of the American
Association of Naturopathic Physicians (AANP).
Dr.
Duda Dox has her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology which she received from
Centenary College in Hackettstown, NJ. She was inspired to pursue the healing
profession by New Jersey Herbalists, Kerry Adams and David Winston, AHG. She proceeded
to study with David Winston and completed the three-year program at his Herbal
Therapeutics School of Botanical Medicine in New Jersey. Here she was trained
in herbal medicine under the philosophy to treat people, not disease. She wanted
to continue to study the art of healing based in the more traditional sense which
lead her into Naturopathic Medicine. Dr.
Duda Dox's Naturopathic specialties include Botanical Medicine, Classical Homeopathy,
and Clinical Nutrition. "From
my own personal and professional experience, I feel that Naturopathic Medicine
is one way that leads people to their path in life. Through conscientious application
of herbs, homeopathy, diet and lifestyle modification people can transform. My
hope is to ignite people's inner doctor or innate healing ability. This will,
in turn, result in a ripple effect touching on all aspects of an individual's
life. As a Naturopath, it is of utmost importance for me to be where the patient
is at in their own healing process, to support people individually and to incorporate
physical, mental, emotional and spiritual aspects of each person." |
